The San Diego Microfinance Alliance hosts summits, events, and roundtables to bring together professionals, students, academics, volunteers and members of the general public that want to learn and become more engaged in the microfinance work in San Diego-California and globally.

Attendees have the opportunity to network, meet local practitioners and academic experts, and hear directly from entrepreneurs who have benefited from access to capital through local and international microfinance programs. Roundtable discussions focused on topics such as emerging trends in the industry,  programmatic approaches to lending decisions, and how to compete for positions at microfinance institutions.
