The CID combines practical business knowledge with compassionate hearts to address the deepest challenges of poverty around the world. Its aim is to raise awareness of our global neighbors and encourage active poverty alleviation efforts, as well as partner with other like-minded organizations to support people in impoverished countries who are trying to find meaningful, productive, and sustainable livelihoods.
Microfinance Matters
PLNU is making an impact locally and around the world. The Microfinance Club holds event to spread awareness and get students connect with the cause. PLNU hosts Microfinance 101, a four-week course providing an understanding of how microfinance is being utilized in San Diego today. The club also helps put on the San Diego Microfinance Summit.
